Lougheed House collects only the personal information required for our business and legal purposes. In doing so, we follow the guidelines of the Personal  Information  Protection  Act (https://www.alberta.ca/personal-information-protection-act-overview.aspx).  We do not sell or provide personal information to any third party. We do not use cookies. 

  

On our website we collect the following visitor information: 

  • Email addresses of those who choose to sign up for our newsletter. 

  • Website visitor data aggregated by Google Analytics. This data does not identify individual visitors to our site, and so we use the high-level data to understand when people visit our site, what pages they visit, and how long they stay on our site. Retention of data is 26 months. 

  • Names, emails, addresses, and phone numbers of those who donatebuy memberships, or purchase product from our ecommerce site via the Stripe or other payment platforms, and similar info for those who register as a volunteer via our Better Impact account/link. 

  • All related data is kept as per CRA standards; current year + 6 years in addition to active participation unless otherwise indicated 

 

We protect your data by using current malware protection software and by not retaining your information after it is needed. You may unsubscribe from our email list by clicking “unsubscribe” on any of our emails that you have received.
